Working with Karlene to buy our home was one of the best decisions I could have made in the home buying process! I had spoken with a few other realtors, and stumbled across Karlene when I called about one of her current listings. Sadly - that one had already received an offer, however once speaking to Karlene, I was very impressed on her follow-through and attention to details. When she says she will do something, she does it right away. She is kind, honest, personable, and flexible during the process. We didn't have a specific area to move, instead a type of home, and she took us all over the Milwaukee area without batting an eyelash -- even if it meant traveling through rush hour at the worst times possible! We even found out (after the fact) that she took us to view homes on her birthday! Talk about dedication! She really wanted to make sure we found the home that fit the needs of our family. She took care of all the loose ends, kept track of the other realtor to keep the process moving quickly, and kept my loan officer organized with all the paperwork. With my busy schedule, she really made home buying an easy process. I couldn't have asked for a better realtor. She is truly a gem, and I would highly recommend anyone going through the home buying process to work with her!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Nothing complicated about how I'm compensated... If listing a home, there is a mutually agreed upon sales commission percentage with the Seller at closing and if representing the Buyer, I'm paid at closing through the listing broker offering a pre-determined percentage portion of the Seller's commission to the listing broker.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I'm an Accredited Buyer Representative (ABR), certified as a Broker Price Opinion Resource (BPOR) and certified in Short Sales & Foreclosures (SFR). Keeping up with my local real estate market, trends & laws help me to ensure my client's successful transactions.
