FAQs
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
Good question, I kinda got tricked into it. haha. With a background mainly in highschool seniors, we got to the point where some of our old clients needed engagement and wedding pictures. They liked us so much from the previous experience that we were their first choice. My wife had done weddings before and didn't much like it (there can be a lot of pressure) so I accepted the challenge as sorta a side gig. I soon discovered that I really love doing it so I invested in myself by second shooting and working with other high end wedding photographers, I attended seminars and workshops because I don't want to do something if I'm not going to do it well. Bam, a few years later, here I am! :)
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Find a photographer who's images you CONSISTENTLY like. If you're just drawn to two or three images, they're not the photographer for you. You don't know if they just got lucky on those shots, and when you're going through your own hundreds of wedding images, do you really want to just like a handful? Of course every image can't be a favorite but overall a photographers style should stand out to you as something special.
