Introduction: We offer radon testing and mitigation systems, serving all of Northeast Wisconsin. Great Lakes Radon Testing and Mitigation LLC strives to complete each project on time and in accordance with the clients' demands. It is always our first priority to do a quality job and have referred clients rather than do quick aimless work. Great Lakes Radon only uses top-notch products in your application and the majority of the time, radon is tested with a continuous radon monitor (Sun Nuclear 1028). Occasionally and in accordance with EPA protocols, our monitors are simultaneously used to show documentation that the monitors are collecting radon information precisely. A micromanometer is used to ensure that pressure field extension is encompassed beneath the entire floor (a vacuum is created beneath the basement floor). Rest assured, the same person who designs the system is the one who will be installing it. I install all systems myself; occasionally, I will have a helper. I have over 20 years of "real experience" in every aspect of the building trades. Radon mitigation requires knowledge and skills in plumbing, electrical work, HVAC, indoor air quality, concrete, drainage, roofing and general construction. My real experiences have been in residential and heavy commercial building, and I have always been fascinated with new building procedures. I became interested in radon testing and mitigation from information that our building techniques could be causing health issues to its residents. Great Lakes Radon is NEHA/NRPP certified and Wisconsin proficient. We are an ARRST member and keep up with new procedures and protocols.
