Jon provided the music for the cocktail hour of our wedding on Sunday, September 18, 2016. We must start out by saying that, because the entire wedding was one big whirlwind, we did not have the pleasure of being able to hear a majority of Jon’s performance. However, we did hear through word of mouth that the guests really enjoyed the music that Jon provided. We communicated exclusively through e-mail. He was very kind and patient with us as we tried to figure out what types of music we wanted to play. Jon was able to send us a list of songs that he was well-versed in and that accommodated the genres we ultimately decided on (latin, jazz, bossa nova, R&B). This made our lives easier as it helped us to focus and eventually narrow our choices down to a small selection of songs. We finally got a chance to meet face to face at the wedding venue. He was very sweet and very formal (and he speaks Spanish too!). We did have a bit of confusion regarding whether or not Jon would use his own personal keyboard or the piano provided by the wedding venue but thankfully everything worked out in the end. Jon was VERY reasonably priced; however, he does not provide a contract (but because Jon is such a professional, this was not an issue at all). We would absolutely recommend Jon. And like we had mentioned to him at the venue, hopefully we have another opportunity to hire him so that we can listen to and enjoy his musical talents in its entirety. Thanks again Jon!

I have always regretted giving up playing guitar when I was a teenager. When my teenage son started playing bass in his schools jazz band I was motivated to see if I could play again. I struggling for months attempting to use the internet and learn on my own before meeting Ken Fought while he was playing at a friends wedding. I was so impressed with his artistry with the guitar that I scheduled lessons for both my son and I. Ken has helped rekindle my passion for music and continues to work with me in improving my skill and confidence in playing my guitar.

I have worked with "DJ Rush Events" on three different occasions; a Birthday Party for my son, a Bat Mitz'Vah for my daughter and a Christmas Party for my company. It has been a total pleasure working with Justin "DJ Rush"!!! Very energetic, highly professional and accommodating. Very knowledgeable in all kinds of music that he provides as well as using a great sounding equipment as well as lighting. To anyone who's planning a party, be it a wedding, anniversary, birthday or anything else for that matter, I would highy recommend Justin's "DJ Rush Events" company to bring joy and a great energy to any event. As the matter of fact, Justin will be doing our Halloween Party soon, so I will share my experience with you as well. Thank you Justin!

Laura Joy recently played at my wedding and was an absolute sensation. Not only did she play the wedding songs we requested (and very well I might add), but she played an array of appropriate wedding songs without the need of any cues form the bride or groom. My wife and I were honored that she played our wedding (you would be too) and would love to see her play again anytime, anywhere. Come to Japan!

I cannot express how AMAZING Kathryn and her band were at our wedding! It was the first thing our guests commented to me on: "Where did you find her?!" "She has an amazing voice!" Kathryn has a long repertoire list that is packed with songs of many genres. She also worked with us to incorporate any songs we wanted which weren't on the original list. She and her guitarist provided beautiful background music during our lunch and cocktails, and more danceable selections later on. Their music was such an important part of our event and I would hire her again in a second!

My organization has hired Guy and his colleagues in multiple different musical/band arrangements. Each time it was easy to book, the fee was reasonable, everyone arrived on time and the music was amazing. The talent that was hired was phenomenal and we would be thrilled to have Guy and his colleagues back with us at any time.

Nick is so easy to work with. He played with a trio for our wedding reception. The music sounded was the perfect backdrop and Nick, Ryan, and Zac were extremely professional.

The EcoLimes are great musicians. They have a fun sound with lots of interesting mash-ups of popular songs. They were easy to book, showed up on time and took care of their own set-up and tear-down. They took longer breaks than agreed upon.

Kathy sang at my California wedding in August 2014, during the ceremony and the reception. I discussed the songs I was considering with Kathy many times in the months leading up to our wedding and she listened to my ideas, giving guidance and suggestions for impactful songs. We ended up choosing an Adele song for the ceremony and a Beatles song for the reception. One of our guests told me after that he's only cried at two weddings: his and when Kathy sand Adele at ours. If I could give Kathy six stars, I would. Kathy is the epitome of professional. In a process filled with weirdly secretive costs (the minute you say wedding, costs increase exponentially) it was a huge relief to have someone up front, honest and fair with prices and expectations. If you are worried about having a meaningful music experience, hire Kathy. She listened to our desire for an emotional performance at the ceremony and a more 'fun song' at the reception and knocked it out of the park with "I'm So Tired" by the Beatles. I could go on about all the ways Kathy enhanced our wedding experience, but let me leave it at this: if you are even remotely considering live music at your wedding, you would be crazy not to contact Kathy.

Matt played for our daughter's wedding and we couldn't have been happier with the results. His acoustic guitar playing before the wedding ceremony set just the right tone and filled the church with beautiful music. Matt's playing gave a jumpstart to a truly glorious evening.

My husband & I had the band Jerry & Nora with the Revue play at our 80th Birthday party. The members of the band radiated good times. They played a variety of tunes, very good. It was just fun, fun & more fun. They are one of the best bands around. We go to see them every chance we get.

My family has hired Sipos & Young for a wedding reception and a celebration of life gathering. Rachel and Chris are fantastic musicians and their song catalogue is deep. They also asked on both occasions if there were any particular songs the family wanted to hear. They set the tone perfectly for each event as diverse as they were and really added something special.

I can't stress enough how much we loved working with Manny for our Wedding in October 24, 2014. From the moment we met, we knew he was someone we wanted to play at our ceremony. We didn't want traditional wedding, we wanted something different. We had music from the 80's and 90's that represented our taste, to contemporary music. I highly recommend using Manny, and I know the guests at my wedding does as well.

Artist collective is a very professional business that has the musician in their best interest. I personally have worked with them and it was so nice to have them take care of the "business" end, so I could concentrate on the creative end with my band. AC set us up with a photo/video shoot and it was a success! Highly recommended by us!!

My son learned to play guitar there at the age of 5. He is now 12 and has continued his lessons and has formed a Rock Band where they all practice and perform through the music school. They have all learned a tremendous amount and it continues to be a wonderful experience for them.

We hired Davin to handle the music for a friend's memorial service. We did not give him much time, but he was able to quickly hire musicians and pick songs and interlude music which added so much to the service. Afterward, many people commented on his beautiful and touching performance and on how powerful the music was. He added so much to the service and we will always be grateful for the way he helped to honor our friend. We highly recommend him.

About

The Big Eagle Band was established in Chicago, IL, in January 2008. Covering a range of jukebox favorites from the 1970’s to present day, The Big Eagle Band sets its sights on recreating what is in your establishment’s jukebox, live on stage. The Big Eagle Band features John Beniacs on bass and vocals, Matt Stone on guitar and vocals, Mark Sibincic on drums and Phil Valenti on guitar. All members are in their early 30's, jamming the music everyone loves. John, Matt, Mark and Phil have a long sordid history of playing in original bands dating back to the mid-90’s (most recently Mark and John in Government Warning and Matt and Phil in Killie McGee and Point 08). While styles and genres fade in and out, hits remain, and this idea brought the four members of The Big Eagle Band together. With everyone’s prior experience, it was a matter of weeks before the band was armed and ready to bring its show to the masses. The Big Eagle Band’s performance is guaranteed to electrify and stimulate any crowd with their diverse catalog of jukebox favorites and humorous banter — the perfect ingredients that make any show not just fun, but a blast! The Big Eagle Band is professional and is available for booking not only for bar gigs, but also for corporate events, festivals and public or private parties.
