I hired Ron and his team from July 4th Landscapes. He came to my home and designed and installed a beautiful outdoor living space. He used the space perfectly and installed a paver patio, with fire pit, and sitting walls complete with shrubs and mulch. It's a dream come true. Ron still maintains my lawn/Landscape on a weekly basis. My lawn had so many weeds! Not anymore! Ron is a true professional.

Juan came by and did a walk thru with me and I felt very confident in his skills. He did not pressure me or talk down to me, he listened to my needs and concerns. I was out of town while he worked and Juan checked in daily with pictures of the progress. My basement job was gross, complicated and messy. Juan finished it quickly and cleaned up so well I almost didn't recognize the pictures he sent me as my basement. His pricing is very fair and his work was excellent.

Coming from a home owner, attorney and someone that has dealt with complex business deals, Brian was great to work with! He was responsive, friendly, and did an excellent job! I needed a general carpentry repair done in my attic where no floor exists quickly and he was able to make it happen. I highly recommend him!

Frank Landaverde installed a new tile floor in our kitchen and entryway, and he was a pleasure to work with from start to finish. I wish I could figure out a way to upload a picture here to show the results of his hard work: the grout goes wonderfully well with the tile, and he chose an arrangement for the tile that really works (we had three different colors). He and his associates really paid close attention to detail; the floor is flawless and beautiful. I really can't stop looking at it! Many thanks to Frank and his co-workers. We have had experiences with other contractors who did not follow through well, and Frank made every effort to meet our schedule; he even made special accommodations to ensure it was done on time. I can't believe how quickly and effectively they worked on this floor. I have to wish him and his small business all the best -- they will do well if they can keep up this level of service, and we will certainly hire them again in the future.

Scott is a professional, and very easy to work with. He came and created / installed shelving for my garage. The shelves are heavy duty, and really helped get things organized and off the floor. Will definitely use Scott again in the future!!

They repaired 2 bathroom floors for us. It was a very quick turn around. The first bathroom was replaced in less than 1 day and the second was more involved but they still had it done in 2 days. Very professional, honest, and upfront. They left the job site very clean and above our expectations. I have been telling others to contact them with jobs and we will definitely use them again!

GDC came in and finished dry walling the ceiling in my basement as well as finishing the sanding of the walls in another area of the basement. They did a good job with the overall project. They were easy to get a hold of and cooperative on all needs. The guy that did the work was very friendly.

Aaron with A-Team Construction has done multiple projects for my family. They installed a patio door where we once had a window, re-did my kitchen, re-did my bathroom, finished our basement with a custom built entertainment system including theater, installed an egress window so we could add a bedroom in our basement, removed the chimney used for our old furnace, and re-roofed to match where the chimney once was. His heart, top notch and one of a kind. It's evident he/they are committed to helping others accomplish their dreams.

I have used Accurate Custom Creations' services for the last three years and have known Chad Corfits for eight years. My first project they installed new windows and new insulation and siding on the house. They provided such great customer service and quality of work that I hired them to repaint my four bedrooms, bath, office and kitchen. They were meticulous in the painting taking very good care of my woodwork. They also remodeled my bath installing a new vanity, toilet, ceramic tile floor, paint and medicine cabinet. I absolutely love it. I also used them to finish some home energy audit findings in my attic including flashing, insulation and sill sealing in the basement. They provided a very detailed and accurate estimate, issued change orders when we found new things to deal with in the siding of the house and always corrected any issues I found - in fact - Chad usually found the issues and fixed it himself. He takes great pride in his work and it shows. I would highly recommend Accurate Custom Creations Services to anyone.

I have gone through a lot of trouble getting consultations, ranging from Home Depot to the Ganser Company, to have my unfinished bathroom constructed from the concrete basement floor to the ceiling joists. The estimates I received were all over the place and I felt hesitant with those companies due to their salesmen pitches and inflated prices. I was referred to Mike, had him come out to my house to get an idea of what I was looking for, and asked him for an estimate. The first thing I noticed while talking to him was, he wasn’t giving me a sales pitch. From the cabinetry to the tile, your project can get pricy quickly. Mike gave me ideas of what would give me the most bang-for-my buck. Mike took notes for what I was looking for, went home and created a CAD drawing with some ideas he had. I started making selections and he gave me an estimate. When my wife and I received it, we could not believe how much more affordable it was. We gave him the thumbs up to start work. Throughout the process, Mike surprised me with each step. The tile work is detailed and beautiful. Mike did the plumbing, electrical, drywall, tile, cabinetry, trim, shower install, etc. Whenever he wasn’t 100% satisfied with the way something came together, he would redo it until it was outstanding. For example, he received my shower glass in and found some imperfections (a couple scratches and a chip). He thought he could hide those small imperfections with the shower hinges but there was still a little showing. He took the glass back to the dealer and had it replaced. I consider myself a perfectionist; his quality of work and detail surpassed my expectations. I cannot say enough good things about Mike and his company. I have already found several other large-scale projects I will be calling him back for.

I hired 4 Acre Remodeling's Dave for finishing my basement for a theater room and the bathroom. The theater room has been completed and it turned to be more than expected. He had nice ideas on how to convert waste space into usable space. The platform, which he built was exactly as expected. Also he helped me to learn things, which would be useful for my future projects. Cannot wait for the bathroom to be complete. Because of the quality of his work, I will be for sure hiring him for my future projects. Thanks Dave!

We had a very good experience with Shamrock. Danny got right back to me when I posted my need on Thumbtack. Originally I thought we just needed new ridge vents because we had bats in our attic and we knew we had at least one hole in our roof. He came down on a Sunday to check out the holes before it rained again and discovered that we had extensive hail damage and needed a whole new roof. He was very good at dealing with our insurance company, and answered all of our questions and returned our phone calls quickly. We had a two-man crew do our entire roof, and we feel that they were really an A+ team. They were polite, hardworking, and cleaned up the work area every day before they left. We are very pleased with our new roof and Shamrock Construction.

This was a design-build project. Ray Habenicht, owner of Habenicht Homes, started with a big empty attic. First, Ray insulated it carefully then framed in the bedroom, closet, and corner storage areas. Then he hung dry-wall and finished the rooms, which had a multitude of difficult, yet charming attic angles. The finished product is delightful and aesthetically pleasing. At this point they primed and painted walls and ceilings. Ray built a tray ceiling with molding and inset lights where a ceiling fan will hang. He built doors to match our 1905 Colonial four-square farmhouse, including smaller versions for the bedroom corner storage areas and one to fit the attic bedroom closet. He trimmed out all the windows and doors, again to match the rest of the home, then added bead board and trim to the walls of the great room area. He built bead board-trimmed doors into the corner storage areas that almost disappear into the rest of the bead board/trim. I say almost, but hasten to say that I'm glad they are a little noticeable, they are so very pleasant. He built-in a special reading nook, with the bookcase modeled after a painting by Swedish painter, Carl Larsen. The south end of the great room includes two built-in desks with drawers (for our homeschooling children to share), two clever bookcases with cubby holes below for baskets, and a large beautiful window seat that opens for storage. Ray was good at re-purposing left-over materials to cut costs. For instance, he suggested using the (beautiful) flooring to top the window-seat and cap off the half-walls. He built-in another desk for a home office as well as a DVD-player cabinet with storage into the half-wall . Ray transformed an unfinished attic into a show-room piece with many personal touches. The craftmanship is amazing. Ray is more than a carpenter, he is a designer, and, really, an artist. Taking our dreams and making them reality. Truly, our attic is not only functional and efficient, it has our personality written all over it. As people come upstairs for the first time they take a deep breath and breathe out, "Wow!"
