- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Service is an important part of any business, especially in home service providers like carpet cleaners. References and referrals from neighbors, friends, family and co-workers are a great place to start. An excellent independent resource is Angies List. Oxi Fresh of Greater Madison has again earned the service industrys coveted Angies List Super Service Award, reflecting an exemplary year of service provided to members of the local services marketplace and consumer review site in 2014. Only about 5 percent of the carpet cleaning and upholstery cleaning companies in Madison/Dane County have performed so consistently well enough to earn our Super Service Award, said Angies List Founder Angie Hicks. Its a really high standard. Angies List Super Service Award 2014 winners have met strict eligibility requirements, which include an A rating in overall grade, recent grade, and review period grade; the company must be in good standing with Angies List, pass a background check and abide by Angies List operational guidelines.
- What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
Oxi Fresh is one of the few, if not only, local carpet cleaning companies certified by the Carpet and Rug Institute! Oxi Fresh Carpet Cleaning® has received the Carpet and Rug Institute's (CRI) Seal of Approval. The certification was awarded after Oxi Fresh passed numerous tests and met the stringent requirements of the CRI. The Carpet and Rug Institute is the authority on carpet manufacturing, installation and maintenance in the United States. Since it was founded, the organization has been focused on advancing the industry through research, legislation and maintaining a strict set of standards and practices for each aspect of the carpet industry. For service providers, these standards include a series of difficult tests that examine every aspect of a companys cleaning system, from the pH levels of their products to the stress it places on carpet fibers over the course of multiple cleanings. Companies that pass the CRI tests become Approved Service Providers.
