I have worked with Jeanne Gomoll on a major annual non-profit event for the past six years. Jeanne single-handedly designs and lays out virtually all of the event publications, shepherds them through the print process, and the resulting brochures, program books and posters invariably receive strongly favorable reviews from event attendees. As a co-chair of the event in two years, I fielded inquiries about the publications from coordinators of similar events all over the country, and I had no hesitation at all in recommending Jeanne's services. Jeanne combines tremendous creativity and phenomenal artistic skills with an impressive level of efficiency and dedication to getting the job done on time and on budget. Between her quirky sense of humor and her pragmatic business skills, it is truly a delight to work with her on a project. Her knowledge of the design and printing industries is extensive and detailed, and she brings all that knowledge to bear in providing her clients with a beautiful, affordable result. I highly recommend Jeanne Gomoll and Union Street Design to any individual or business that requires high-quality graphic design services.

Jeanne Gomoll of Union Street Design worked with us to design our wedding invitations. She created a wonderful original artwork that managed to incorporate our eclectic interests, a sense of whimsy, and still retain all the hallmarks of a good invitation. Jeanne has also provided art for websites I've worked on and was kind enough to take a rush job for me so that a club I'm in could submit the correct size and type of graphic to a t-shirt printer. She's a great combination of organized and artistically talented.

Jeanne Gomoll has been the graphic artist for a great number of my projects for more than eight years. Jeanne is professional, efficient and prompt. She is very good at working creatively within the parameters set by the client. And her reasonable pricing makes her services an excellent value. Robert Wynn Community Organizer & Entrepreneur

Jeanne designed business cards and labels for my art-to-wear business. She molded my vague ideas (red and black, and maybe some bamboo?) into a set of striking images and easy-to-read text, giving me labels and cards that look good and somehow also look like details from clothes I've made. She patiently walked me through the design process so that making decisions was easy.

Highest recommendation for Jeanne Gomoll. Her "creative" side is super and in the "practical" world - she is very punctual, meets all deadlines, and is very user-friendly for customers who don't know much about graphic design and printing!

FAQs

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

    1) Involve the designer early in the process. The questions we ask about your project will save time and result in a better product; 2) If you are collecting images to use in a publication, make sure you retain them in the highest resolution possible; 3) Communicate clearly with the designer about which individual(s) will approve the final work. 4) Set down concrete expectations and deadlines, and sign a contract that protects both you and the designer.
