Hired on Thumbtack
We hired Dylan (sp?) to install a backsplash into our kitchen. He did encounter some challenges that would have made this job a 3-4 day job, instead of 2-3 days. However, the work that was done (prepped the area, removed the old drywall, installed poorly cut drywall, added foam to cover the holes, and mud the area) took 6 days. He had to take two days off during this time. One day to finish another project, and today (4/15/26), because "something came up." One piece of 12"×12" tile went up two days ago.
My husband and I discussed keeping him on as our go-to handyman, but obviously not.
