FAQs
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I decided to join the trades after i got my first home. I started to see that i really needed to be handy if i was ever going to afford the maintenance on my house. When i lost a good job it gave me the opportunity to try something knew and i was still young enough to do it. After a while, i was convinced to start my own business. Now i know it is a process, and i am working on perfecting that too.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
Carpet cleaning, hardwood floors, remodels.
- What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
I wish costumers understood that even a good trades man is not superman and we still have to figure lots of things out as we work a job. There are to many things that can go wrong and set backs that come with the job. These really should be worked out by both the contractor and the costumer in order to build a good relationship. The costumer doesn't want to keep going out of pocket for unforeseen problems. The contractor has this problem at every job and it is great for both parties to have good communication to get through it and build that trust.
