- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Our prices are $100-$120 for group obedience training classes depending on the type of class you are interested in. For private training, our prices are as individualized as your dogs and will depend on your needs. We offer a few "standard" programs that start at $195 and go up from there. We understand though, that not every dog will fit into a mold, so can also put together a customized program to specifically tailored to your dog and your goals.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
When a pet parent is looking to do private training, the first step is to have us come to your home for an evaluation. During the evaluation, we will talk more in depth about the issues going on and the goals that would like to be achieved through training. With also taking the observations of your dog into account, we then come up with a training program that will get you on the road to building a great relationship with your dog.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I have always loved animals and knew I wanted to have a job that involved working with them. I started out my working career being a kitchen and bath designer, but when the economy took a downward turn, I lost my job. This was the time that I went back to school, and ended up learning that working with pets and their humans was my true calling. I started out by getting a job as a handler at a doggy daycare, then found a great job as a dog trainer. The rest is history!
