FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Every client wants 3 things: 1) best price 2) best quality 3) want it done fast I provide 2 out of 3. I operate a lean business. I have little to no overhead costs. I seldom need help so I have no employee costs. I also have 2 other “sources” of income. All of this translates into low prices for my clients. I look at average labor costs for all types of work, and I am ALWAYS lower. I do not sacrifice quality for any reason. Anybody can make a fresh coat of paint look good, it’s what under the surface that defines the integrity of the work. I may be a little slower than most, but my quality and price will make up for the time it takes. 2 out of 3 ain’t bad.!
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I actually prefer the client supply the materials the first time. This reduces the need for down payments for the project. However, if the client prefers, I will purchase materials, at the same cost as a client would, and provide receipts for reimbursement. No mark ups.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been painting and remodeling since my teenage years. (52 years old now) I have taken on every imaginable project as it relates to home improvement. All my experience comes from hands on learning.
