I offer private lessons in a multitude of styles and also music theory lessons, composition lessons and ear training. Beginning with the student's interest, we will learn most importantly how to begin playing music, navigating the fret board and exploring the music of the masters.
I cater to what the student desires. If it is not fun, one is not engaged and one is not learning.

Tyler is working with my 4 year old son. In order to help with notes he is teaching the piano in addition to guitar.
Update 12/2017 Tyler is an excellent musician and is SUPER patient!
He tried to find music that my son would want to play but often this did not follow a proper teaching method. My son did not enjoy piano and really wanted guitar but Tyler realized after MANY lessons that his hands were too small--which is what I was worried about to begin with and mentioned before we started. He lent my son a ukulele, which my other son also plays, and taught him that for a couple weeks. Unfortunately, I had to end lessons with Tyler since he cancelled SO many times, and often at the last minute. My son is now taking lessons from the instructor that taught my other son.
