Floors look brand new and there was no dust in the rest of the house. Friendly installation staff who even put the covers back on the radiators after work was done. The owner seems to take a personal interest in making sure the customer is satisfied. We were.

"I couldn't ask for more professional, personable, and friendly company and their work. They did an incredible job, while always being professional, and going above and beyond just completing the floors, sanding, staining and finishing. I would recommend them to anyone, and in fact have given their names to two other people, so far, after they saw the floors and the great job they did. Cudos to Brian and Jon.

Jon is great. His crew is timely, conscientious and does the job beautifully. He manages expectations well. You have old floors, they are old. They will be lovely when he's done, remember you started with age. We use him on every project.

Jon and his crew were very professional, knowledgable, and turned my gross, sticky floors into a beautifully naturally stained masterpiece. I have gotten compliments from everyone. Jon is a very nice, easy going guy who will be honest, yet also take care of your house like its his own. Jon gave me a competitive quote and didn't go over. My job was not easy or small: it included floors that were covered by old sticky linoleum adhesive and a few water spots. But they still got it done! Jon updated me with his progress and was able to get rough water-stained areas looking brand new again. True craftsmen.
If I have to name one complaint, my floors were not completed in the 3-5 day estimate. 95% of the job was completed on time; however, it was not 100% completed until day 8. He gave me valid, honest reasons for not being able to complete the entire job on time, so its not like he forgot about me. They were valid reasons, especially since he was able to start the job days after I hired him, and the other uncompleted 5% was just some thresholds that needed to be placed.
Overall, I am 99% satisfied with the look and quality of Smooth Sanding and Install, and friends and family have already asked me who did the job.
