Introduction: I play two roles in my life, the role of educator and artist. I love to combine them in serving students. First my focus is as an educator, I am a licensed reading specialist and special education teacher. I am currently pursuing my PHD and am ABD with over 13 years of experience helping struggling learners find success. I am currently working as a teacher of children with visual impairment and would love to help increase your student’s reading fluency and Braille skills.
I am qualified to work with children age 3 through adults and enjoy all levels of the learning process.
My schedule is flexible, and I am willing to work with students online as well as in person. I am able to provide support in the areas of reading, writing, and math through geometry in both print and Braille, and can help students who need to develop study skills to be lifelong learners. My philosophy of teaching is based on the ideal that all students can learn and given the strategies to meet their individual learning style they will find success.
I love the process of helping someone discover, they can be successful.
My second role is that of an artist and art therapist. I work Mainly in 3-d sculpting both in metal and clay, but I draw and paint as well. I love to teach and mentor others into finding themselves through art.
