FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My pricing is based on a monthly commitment. The client and I decide how many sessions a week are needed to meet his or her goals. The amount of weekly sessions determine the monthly rate. All sessions must be completed during the month time frame to ensure progress toward goals. Current pricing: 1× week: $180/mo ($45 session) 2× week: $320/mo ($40 session) 3× week: $420/mo ($35 session) Session price is capped at $35 for clients who see me more than 3 x week
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I begin with a consultation to learn about their goals and needs. Then, a basic fitness assessment is performed which will indicate strengths/weaknesses, and if any targeted corrective exercise or modifications will be needed for his or her program. Standard warm up and cool down exist in every workout whether it's strength, metabolic or Yoga-focused. I do emphasize all components of fitness (strength, endurance, cardiovascular, flexibility and neuromuscular ) in the programming and offer lifestyle and behavioral support for outside his or her time with me.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I chose UW Oshkosh for my undergraduate degree because of the hands on approach in the technical and applied skills necessary in the field. Many of the classes were conducted in the field with actual participants/customers. I chose National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) to complete my Personal Training Certification (CPT) and Corrective Exercise Specialist Certification (CES) because of their focus on proper function and movement of the body. NASM looks at how to assess the mechanics of the body to address any muscular imbalances. No matter the age or condition of the client, aligning the body properly and restoring proper function helps to prevent pain and injury. How can the person lose weight or increase muscle if they are injured, right? It's more of a whole body/person approach.
