Bryn is the real deal — we had him come out to fix some horrible rotting posts and railings on our house. Every other contractor we met was upselling us, but Bryn just listens to your ideas and offers the highest-quality solution without any extras. He is kind, reliable, and knows his stuff. He shows up fully available and dedicated to the task at hand, even while he juggles his carpentry business with a full-time job and family life. He treats your project like it matters and makes you feel like he's performing to the same level that he would for his own home. On top of that, he brings the kind of energy you want around. He’s thoughtful and easy to talk to, and he has integrity in the way he shows up and does the work. His craftsmanship is solid, and the whole experience low-stress and straightforward. We’d hire him again in a heartbeat. Note to other reviewers: Thumbtack controls what contractors see, so if you send them a message, and they're busy, within a 24 hour period, the site might just cut off their ability to contact you back. I imagine that's what must've happened to previous reviewers.

We hired Bryn for a framing project in our basement. He completed the job on schedule, with appreciated attention to detail. When the job was done, he left the area spotless as if he wasn’t there to begin with. Through our interaction with Bryn, we came to understand he does drywall and trim work as well. I went to a technical school and have received a degree in construction. I also have gone through a four year apprenticeship and am a certified journeyman carpenter.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
My dad used to do handyman projects around the house as well as a fewer bigger projects.
