FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Our pricing structure is straight forward. I base the price of the window on the exact measurements and the options that the customer is looking for in their window. From there I work with the homeowner to come up with a set of options and product quality that will work with their budget. Stay away from companies that quote you a per window price without even knowing what size or options you want on the window. That is usually a sign that you are overpaying for the window. If they are that confident to give you a number without any information they most likely have padded that number with a large profit margin.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Continuing education is required in order to maintain your WI Dwelling Contractors License. In addition I have my Construction Document Technologist accreditation, and have obtained my LEED Green Associate accreditation. I also have a Masters of Business Administration Degree from Carroll University in Waukesha WI.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
The Hackbarth Family name has been involved in construction going back to our earliest generations. Most starting out as stone masons and branching out into other fields. My grandfather Russell Hackbarth was involved in the construction of the Joan of Arc Chapel on the Marquette Campus and my father is a Welding Engineer for a large manufacturer in Milwaukee. Even though I pursued my education in business, I was still drawn into the construction industry where I have been doing sales for the past 11 years.
