- How did you get started doing this type of work?
With my history as a video editor, I also owned a camcorder at the time. A friend of mine asked me to film his wedding only because he knew I had a camcorder so I did. The wedding was fantastic and there were no issues recording at all. So while they were on their honeymoon I decided to put together a little highlight video of their wedding day. When they saw it, they called me immediately and started crying on the phone. I thought i did something wrong but they told me they loved it and couldn't stop watching it. A few family members loved it as well so I ended up filming quite a few weddings in the up coming months and it is now spread to more than just friends and family. I didn't do it for the money, I did it because I knew how much it would mean to them. Thats just the type of person I am.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
I love what I do. I don't love weddings, I love emotion. Being surrounded with that all day long, is something special because like I said before, I treat every wedding, as if it was my own.
