I hired PMK to repair the drywall and install a backsplash in my kitchen. (Another contractor had demo'd the old backsplash and made a real mess of the drywall.) Paul and his team did an amazing job on the repair and painstakingly installed the backsplash so that the tile's varying shades were perfectly placed on the wall. I am so beyond happy with PMK's work that I have a whole bunch of ideas for them to help me with going forward -- he can do just about anything! And as a bonus, I work from home -- PMK was so quiet as they worked that I sometimes thought they had left. Plus they were very kind to my dogs. Very talented!

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
No client is the same. Each project is unique in its own way. I try to view the project from their point of view to understand the expectation of the end result. I pay attention to what bothers them most about their project and put extra effort towards those areas. Building trust is essential for the entire project and can even affect the end result.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
To be honest, I got tired
Of waiting for a maintenance person years ago and started learning and absorbing everything I could when I worked as a warehouse manager. If I don’t know how to do something, it’s a matter of days before I know how to do it. But that being said, I am very honest when it comes to something I am not familiar with.
