About
Badger K9 Training provides practical, real-world dog training built around your dog and your goals. I focus on clear communication, consistency, and training that carries over into everyday life, not just obedience in a controlled environment. My Board & Train program includes multiple training sessions each day, structured play and real-life exposure, with your dog returning home on weekends so you can practice what they’ve learned. My goal isn’t just a better-trained dog. It’s giving you the tools and confidence to maintain those results at home.

We had a great experience with Badger K9 training with Derek! Our Belgian Malinois made huge improvements during training. She learned solid obedience, including sit, down, heel, and several other great commands and tricks. One of the biggest changes was her confidence around strangers... she went from barking at people to staying calm and focused. Derek was knowledgeable, patient, and great to work with. We highly recommend Badger K9 Training to anyone looking for quality dog training! And our dog Serena would for sure say the same :)

Weve had a great experience with Badger K9 Training. Theyre great with the dogs and take the time to explain things so you understand what youre doing as the owner. Weve already noticed a big difference with our dog and feel much more confident continuing the training at home. Highly recommend them to anyone looking for a great dog trainer!

Derek was exceptional with our one year old stubborn, sassy, bernedoole! He now is well behaved and I can take him on walks comfortably without him pulling. His recall is also amazing after working with Derek. He comes when hes told, he also sits in his dog bed when told. Not to mention our dogs love Derek and we know our dogs are safe and well treated.
