Dave installed a number of outdoor lights at my condo. He showed up right on time, quickly installed the lighting, cleaned up after himself and was very reasonable. I will definitely give him a call again if I need any electrical work and will recommend him to anyone who needs an electrician.
Josh scheduled me a week in advance to come and put in 4 can lights in a bedroom. He was on time and very polite. He and his brother installed the lights and needed to do more than expected by putting in an outlet as well. They went to Lowes for the parts and came back to finish the job. The room looks beautiful! They cleaned up everything and asked to use the vacuum to make sure it was perfect. I would highly recommend Josh's service to anyone looking for a reliable and friendly electrician.
D & E Services did a variety of home repairs for me, including replacing bathroom faucets, repairing leaky plumbing, and making my very old four panel doors shut tight. He was very reasonably priced, showed up on the dot, and was very professional. I would definitely recommend this company to my friends and family, and will be using them for future home repairs.
Vaughn did a very good job, thorough, and very reasonably priced. Happy with his work.
Sean is the exact contractor you want to hire ! He is professional, detailed and reasonable. Unfortunately, we didn’t get to the actual job. My other electrician had a family emergency (why I found Sean) and wanted to finish the job that he started. Sean responded to my request right away which put me at ease because I wasn’t sure that my other electrician was going to make it back anytime soon.
Mike was very professional and knowledgeable. I will definitely call him should I need an electrician in the future. Call Mike if you need a trustworthy electrician who knows what he's doing.
The men who did the work knew what they were doing...however I was under the impression that he would be doing the work himself and that he was a electrician. I had gone on line to find an electrician in my area. No one told me they were not going to be licensed electricians.
I have used Ricky for many projects and he is my go to guy. He is very trustworthy and because of this I trust him to make on-the-spot decisions about concerns or issues he may encounter. For bigger issues he will give me all the necessary information and costs to make an informed decision. Do not hesitate to use him for your electrician.
I found Darren through Angie’s List and chose him to do our electrical work after reading numerous positive reviews. Darren was very responsive with my inquiry, called me before coming over to analyze the scope of work and gave a good quote for upgrading our electrical service. We will be remodeling soon, and our contractor suggested we upgrade to 200-amp service, but after speaking with Darren he suggested I only upgrade to 100-amp service (we have a gas furnace, water heater and range – and based on the square footage of our house, and future remodeling projects he suggested a bigger panel with more circuits to save money). Darren and two other electricians came to the house on time and quickly started work. They were done with the upgrade, tested and labeled all of the circuits and added a few outlets in a matter of 6 hours or so. His team was very professional and cautious. I highly recommend using Darren for any of your electrical needs.
We called Don to help us troubleshoot poor electric performance. He responded immediately, set an appointment and determined the issues immediately. Some he took care of on the spot and others will require a return visit and special equipment. He is responsive, skilled, fair priced and a gentleman. If you are looking for a reliable master electrician, we highly recommend him.
Ebed did an excellent job installing a ceiling fan. He arrived early, got right to work and cleaned up afterward. He's a very nice man and I look forward to hiring him again as needed.
The process was great! I had a small wiring problem, and Wirenutz followed up and responded immediately. The electrician was on time, fixed and explained the issue in minutes. I will call them if I have any electrical needs in the future.
We had a partial power outage, Bevin was the first to respond to our request for an electrician. He offered to come out right away but we didn't feel it was an emergency so we set up an appointment the following day convenient for our schedule. The power company also came out and would not turn the power back on until repairs were made. Bevin took care of all the repairs and coordinated with the power company to get full power back on. We are very grateful for his speedy service and fair pricing.
Working with Steve was an amazing, POSITIVE contrast to previous contractors we've had in the house. We gave him a "test drive," by asking him to install a couple of windows. When we experienced his workmanship and dependability, we then contracted him to patch up the drywall and install the kitchen cabinets we had already ordered from another company. Dependable: Steve came when he said he would---or called when he was running late. He also went above and beyond what was "required" of him to do his job. We didn't have a car big enough to bring one of our windows home, so Steve picked it up for us, and brought it home! Quality of workmanship: His work was outstanding. Steve paid attention to big AND small details (leveling each of the cabinet doors!); carefully followed--or improved upon--the cabinet plans; touched up the paint that was scuffed when cabinets were installed; and cleaned up after himself every day. With the drywall, he took the time to go over it two or three times, until the new part was seamless with the old. With the window trim, he made a custom stain that beautifully coordinates the window trim to the cabinets, and gave me extra for our future use. Knowledgeable: He knows the code, and chooses to go beyond the minimum. He moved one of our windows, and told us the minimum header was eight inches. He chose to put in an ten inch header. When the rough work was done by the other contractors (plumber and electrician), he pointed out a couple of things that weren't up to code, and said we should be sure these details were done before the rough inspection. He helped me save thousands of dollars by walking me through how to be my own general contractor---at no cost to us. From time to time, Steve would even call me to see how things were progressing, and let me know the "next step," to keep things moving. He pointed out ways he could have saved me money on the cabinets, if I had ordered through him. We're hoping to do an addition on the house in a couple of years. When we do, we'll be calling this guy again. Thanks, Steve, for your outstanding workmanship! I LOVE our kitchen! :)
After getting the runaround from two other electricians who provided outrageous quotes for what I needed done at my house to bring some electrical issues to code, I found John from Affordable Electric here on Thumbtack. John arrived at my house on time, explained what he was doing and completed the job promptly. My only regret is I wish I would have hired John sooner and not wasted my time with other electricians. If you want a dependable electrician who provides quality work, look no further and hire John from Affordable Electric.
I had a whole house generator and a solar array installed at my home, and I couldn't be happier with the process. The install went as planned, and the electricians who did the install, did a professional job that was clean and neat. I would not hesitate to hire them again in the future, or recommend them to friends or family.
I was recently doing a remodel on a house that needed some sprucing up to be put on the real estate market. The house needed a lot of painting, flooring & millwork installed. The part that troubled me was the electrical. So I called Scott Nelson Electric to handle my dilemma on this remodel. Scott not only gave me good advice on fixture selection ,he troubleshooted a electrical problem in timely fashion. Seeing that Scott was knowledgable, took pride in his work & did not charge me an arm & a leg. I will call Scott Nelson Electric for any electrical work I have in the future. Thanks Scott we were under budget & the house sold in a very tough market. The new homeowners love the new ceiling fan you installed & they wanted me to tell you .
I needed a large electrical project done. I just bought a rental house and needed the electrical updated. They outdid themselves. The project was ran by Cameron. And when I say they are brilliant at what they do. They brought out 5 electricians and rewired my whole house. I already passed my rough-in inspection and im waiting for my drywallers to finish for them to install the fixtures. The best part, it cost $15,000 plus materials... and that's including demotilition. Imagine. A 4 bedroom house, bathroom, dining room, kitchen, family room, spare room in the basement and an additional breaker panel. WOW!!! Everyone else was quoting me between 18,000 and 25,000!!!!
I am a handyman and certified electrician. I do painting, retrofitting, fixtures, drywall, tape, mud, cabinet installation, some plumbing, and sinks.
