Dave has not even begun the work we need to have done - which we have scheduled for next Wednesday afternoon. However I wanted to comment already on Dave's response to our search for a qualified electrician - which was quick, informative, to the point, and flexible -which was overall to date "excellent". More feedback to come!
SIX STARS!!! Highly Recommend Tribuilt Home Improvement!!! I usually do not write reviews but come to realize that reviews help out the customer (me) and customers-to-be. I had a dimmer switch on a ceiling fan light fixture go out - so I thought. I went out and bought 3 types of single pole switches and personally replaced them myself; each one exactly as the originally was wired. None of the three switches worked. Tribuilt discovered it was a short in the fixture! Tribuilt Called asked questions and walked me thru how to get the answers very easily in order to keep cost down prior to their arrival!!! Other local electricians quoted average of $175 to just replace the dimmer switch if that’s all it would be and nothing else - a 10 min job door-to-door. TBH quoted half of that - communicated the 1-hour base price and if it would turn out to be a bigger problem, would let me know what the problem is within that hour and if that job can be completed it in that hour time frame, and if not then would tell me how long it would take, and additional cost, and would then ask if I want to move forward! .... that is awesome!!!!! He looksout to give you the most honest price!!!! For the individual that values work quality, responsiveness and communication (trust me, I’ve struggled to get a response back on Thumbtack from most Electricians, Concrete/Construction, Roofers that have shown interest in bidding a job but never bother to reply back to my request for quoting ((even over a phone call or answering any detailed question that is asked of me from their emails))) - Amazing responsiveness! Best professionalism I have ever experienced. I was never talked down too and was educated along the way. And the Price was outstanding!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Tribuilt Home Improvement surely improved the value of my home. I shall be using them solely for all of my electrical work! - West Allis homeowner
D & E Services did a variety of home repairs for me, including replacing bathroom faucets, repairing leaky plumbing, and making my very old four panel doors shut tight. He was very reasonably priced, showed up on the dot, and was very professional. I would definitely recommend this company to my friends and family, and will be using them for future home repairs.
I had several projects that required an electrician - older home so access wasn't always easy. Daren came the day after I requested project help and gave me a quote - easily the best quote I'd received among 4 electricians! He was able to start the next week and completed the projects (adding several outlets throughout the house, cleaning up old wires in the basement, installing a new circuit for the sump pump, and adding canned lights to my very dark living room) within 10 days - just 17 days after initial contact! I'm very happy with the work quality and his crew was careful to protect my furniture from dust and cleaned up as they went - which was incredibly professional! His crew was always here when they said they would be - punctual and responsive! I would say the value is the best! I would recommend Countywide and call them again without question!
Excellent service. Quick response time! Great electrician. I would use him again.
Vaughn from CC Electric Inc. was great! He rewired my kitchen for a remodel and upgraded my box to handle the addition of a dishwasher and new range. He came the same evening I contacted him and gave me a estimate then returned the next two evenings to complete the job. He was friendly and professional and even ended up replacing the other outlets and switches in my kitchen so they would look clean and fresh like the ones he installed. I will hire him again if I need more work done and will definitely recommend him to others
Mike was very professional and knowledgeable. I will definitely call him should I need an electrician in the future. Call Mike if you need a trustworthy electrician who knows what he's doing.
The process was great! I had a small wiring problem, and Wirenutz followed up and responded immediately. The electrician was on time, fixed and explained the issue in minutes. I will call them if I have any electrical needs in the future.
I am a novice when it comes to electrical work, so I was aware that I would need help. Ricky was unbelievable. He came in, did a job much bigger than he had to do, and was unbelievably kind. My wife and daughter think he's great, he was knowledgeable, and unlike most repair professionals I had encountered, he was extremely honest, and humble. I can't thank Ricky enough for his work on my bathroom fan and electrical outlets, and I look forward to hiring him again to help me with some other electrical issues that were here when my wife and I bought our house. He does top-notch quality work, is extremely hard working, and most importantly: trustworthy. Anyone looking for an electrician that doesn't hire Ricky would be foolish.
The men who did the work knew what they were doing...however I was under the impression that he would be doing the work himself and that he was a electrician. I had gone on line to find an electrician in my area. No one told me they were not going to be licensed electricians.
I found Darren through Angie’s List and chose him to do our electrical work after reading numerous positive reviews. Darren was very responsive with my inquiry, called me before coming over to analyze the scope of work and gave a good quote for upgrading our electrical service. We will be remodeling soon, and our contractor suggested we upgrade to 200-amp service, but after speaking with Darren he suggested I only upgrade to 100-amp service (we have a gas furnace, water heater and range – and based on the square footage of our house, and future remodeling projects he suggested a bigger panel with more circuits to save money). Darren and two other electricians came to the house on time and quickly started work. They were done with the upgrade, tested and labeled all of the circuits and added a few outlets in a matter of 6 hours or so. His team was very professional and cautious. I highly recommend using Darren for any of your electrical needs.
Ebed Ramos Camacho was excellent. He was efficient and cleanly.
Did excellent work and fixed some problems I did not know could even be fixed so I highly recommend. We received their quote for our office through Managed by when I requested for an electrician to come in due to continuing issues with our circuits and half of the things in our office kitchen not functioning.
Bevin did an amazing job. His lighting design for my whole house remodel turned out beautifully. He had great ideas and together we created a look that I am so happy with. And I love showing off my lighting control from my iPhone whenever we have guests. I highly recommend B Dawson Automation, they were great to work with!
Eddie responded promptly and was at my house within hours of my call. Took care of my electrical problem with ease. Very friendly guy -- highly recommend!
Tom is not just an electrician. He knows something about a lot of things and fully admits when he doesn’t know something. He is dependable and trustworthy. We did a complete tear down of the kitchen and upgraded the fuse box. His work is impeccable. He has vision and offers good ideas. He cleans up after himself to the point you weren’t sure that he was there. I just can’t say enough good things about Tom Appleyard.
Working with Steve was an amazing, POSITIVE contrast to previous contractors we've had in the house. We gave him a "test drive," by asking him to install a couple of windows. When we experienced his workmanship and dependability, we then contracted him to patch up the drywall and install the kitchen cabinets we had already ordered from another company. Dependable: Steve came when he said he would---or called when he was running late. He also went above and beyond what was "required" of him to do his job. We didn't have a car big enough to bring one of our windows home, so Steve picked it up for us, and brought it home! Quality of workmanship: His work was outstanding. Steve paid attention to big AND small details (leveling each of the cabinet doors!); carefully followed--or improved upon--the cabinet plans; touched up the paint that was scuffed when cabinets were installed; and cleaned up after himself every day. With the drywall, he took the time to go over it two or three times, until the new part was seamless with the old. With the window trim, he made a custom stain that beautifully coordinates the window trim to the cabinets, and gave me extra for our future use. Knowledgeable: He knows the code, and chooses to go beyond the minimum. He moved one of our windows, and told us the minimum header was eight inches. He chose to put in an ten inch header. When the rough work was done by the other contractors (plumber and electrician), he pointed out a couple of things that weren't up to code, and said we should be sure these details were done before the rough inspection. He helped me save thousands of dollars by walking me through how to be my own general contractor---at no cost to us. From time to time, Steve would even call me to see how things were progressing, and let me know the "next step," to keep things moving. He pointed out ways he could have saved me money on the cabinets, if I had ordered through him. We're hoping to do an addition on the house in a couple of years. When we do, we'll be calling this guy again. Thanks, Steve, for your outstanding workmanship! I LOVE our kitchen! :)
After getting the runaround from two other electricians who provided outrageous quotes for what I needed done at my house to bring some electrical issues to code, I found John from Affordable Electric here on Thumbtack. John arrived at my house on time, explained what he was doing and completed the job promptly. My only regret is I wish I would have hired John sooner and not wasted my time with other electricians. If you want a dependable electrician who provides quality work, look no further and hire John from Affordable Electric.
