- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
No we do not have a standard pricing system. We approach each job as they are...individually. What we look for is the challenges around the actual job. Are there limbs over the house? Are their limbs over a pool? Can we just knock the tree down right in the middle of a yard? Etc... There are these and other obstacles that we carefully consider when setting a price for the homeowner.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Usually we meet and look to see what the customers needs and wants are. Then I explain to them how we will do the job. How we will take precautions to ensure the safety of their home and surroundings. I will tell them the equipment that we will use and the processes that we will take to accomplish their needs. Finally will work out a price to do the job.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Our most experienced man, although not an arborist, has 18 years experience. And he's only 36. He has worked in nurseries, done landscaping, and he climbs trees and is the foreman on the job. So most of our experience has to do with on-the-job training, other then horticulture classes and things of that nature. Overall we're very well-rounded team.
