FAQs
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
The state of WV requires that we have 32 hours of continuing education every year. I am always on InterNACHI TV learning how I can better educate myself and my clients. In this industry, learning is the key to success. Without education, I would be short changing my clients by not offering them the best inspections in the industry.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I have always wanted a business that I own and have no one to blame for things going wrong except for me. All of my adult life has been spent on some home project and I thought this would be a great way to get to see the best and worst carpenters in the business.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
My advice would be to check the background of the inspector you are about to hire. Ask to see his / her license. Ask how long they have been in business. This one is not as important because they may have experience in construction and attended a really good school.
