Melinas Cleaning Service did a great job on a difficult job for us, and we plan to hire them in the near term.Nov 4, 2018Verified
They charged me $200 for a "deep clean" for a small two bedroom apartment. They were left unsupervised as I trusted the prior reviews. After returning to the unit, I find the unit very dirty. Pictures of AFTER are attached. Bathroom closets were never cleaned, window sills are filthy, the oven was dirty (even though I was charged extra) And, obviously, they are not returning my calls or texts now. Mr. Assist, we apologize for not responding in a timely fashion. We had a death in the family and were attending matter. As I check my records and the invoices. Walls and windows we're not include or vents. You asked for a deep clean which was $160. Oven cleaning which is $30 extra refrigerator cleaning which is $30 dollars extra and carpet shampoo which is $20 dollars extra per. For 3 rooms. With a grand told of $280 that you didn't want to pay. We agreed to accept the job for $200. You agree to the invoice. We made it clear that the wall were in bad conditions but you didn't want to pay the extra. We did everything we could to make things clear. We appreciate your feed back and wish you the best of luck.
There were very expensive and didn't do a great job. They were also unprofessional, worried about getting paid when they had been reassured of getting paid. They texted the landlord 2 hours before they were finished that they would leave if they didn't get paid right then. They charged $1200 for a 600 square foot apartment that they finished in 5.5 hours. It was in terrible shape, but it worked out to $72.20 per worker for 3 workers. Really too high. Helli Jaye its unfortunate that your experince with us wasnt a good one. You hired us last minute and your communication between you and your partners was poorly executed and not clear. We are not mind readers. But when each of you put tbe responsibility on one another what are we to think? The condition of the home was very extreme and you knew that. We communicated with all three parties and nobody wanted to take responsibility of who was paying. We have all conversations and will post them if you would like. I will never hire them again, I wanted my windows done inside and out, my blinds and house cleaning they started off good but as the time went on I think they got tired so from then on it was down hill alot of the cleaning they promised was not done or done very poorly, the two lady's spent more time talking then cleaning the dust was done poorly, the counter tops were still dirty when they left, there was dust under the furniture and the blinds in the kitchen were still dirty, I know my kitchen blinds were in bad shape and that is why I hired this guy to clean them, he didn't even scrubbed them.
