FAQs
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
My typical process for working with a new (or former) customer is first an in person estimate. After they contact me for a job, I respond over to their house, business, etc. and calculate what the job would cost (excluding tile and grout, as that is always the customers purchase) Once calculated and typed out, a copy of the estimate is emailed over to the customer. Then they decide whether I am the guy for the job, and if so, a contract is emailed over to sign and either on or before the start date, I meet the customer to receive the signed contract and down payment. Jobs that take only a day to complete do not typically require a down payment, however that is discussed with the customer when they decide to hire our company.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Back home in Serbia, during high school, I started taking extra courses and classes in ceramic, porcelain and other types of tile work.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
My brothers back in Serbia became professional tile guys when I was a kid and I always admired the way they completed each and every job so stunningly beautiful. Seeing their honesty and loyalty towards each customer made me want to be just like that. As soon as I was able to, I started working along side them and later going to a professional school to learn more like they did.
