- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Sessions range from $150-350 depending on the type of session (birth is a different package) and then it's up to the clients! I have had small orders of $150 and I have had orders of $2500! Full pricing and product guide will be given to clients to review of course before and after they book/have the have a session.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Generally we meet for our session consultation to go over ideas for custom sets, colors, and themes. Mamas can look at gowns and other items for sessions and see what they like best. We can go over inspiration boards and get to know each other a little. The day of the shoot, if they are getting hair and make up done, they will sit down with Amanda and some good music and be pampered while we chat (or coo over the new baby!). Then we get to shooting! Lots of laughter and beautiful moments no matter what type of session we are doing. Then after the session is over we book the review and order session which is generally a week later. At the review and ordering session clients are able to see a slideshow of selected images from their session and then go through the full gallery (narrowed down by photographer to 40-75 images) and pick their favorites and talk about designs for albums etc. Within 2-4 weeks from the ordering session prints and products are delivered or picked up at the studio!
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am currently making some youtube videos for begining photographers in laymans terms to help them ease into the industry they have a love for. I am always happy to help with mentoring if my schedule allows as well!
