Introduction: I have been playing piano for 19 year and teaching for 5 years. I hold a degree in Piano Performance and studied with world renowned pianist Ani Keropian and Kirill Gliadkovsky. I’m classically trained in not only repertoire but also piano ensemble and accompanying. I’m also a member of of the National Guild of Piano Teachers Association which enables my students to participate in in testing and certifications. I teach using primarily the traditional method but I do customize lesson plans for each students with different needs and goals. My students are and aged from 4 to 75, I enjoy working with students from any age group. Learning how to play a musical instrument is not easy as well as teaching it but being able to pass on such an amazing skill to another person makes it all worth it.

As an adult who wanted to learn the piano for the first time I am so happy I was paired up with Jiaxin. She is such a sweet, patient and encouraging teacher. She is gives a lot of positive feedback which makes me want to work harder! The hour that I work with her always flies by and I'm left eager for the next lesson. She also encourages me to reach my goals in music by asking what some of my favorite pieces are and helping me learn how to play them. She's awesome!

Jiaxin has been an amazing piano instructor to my 6 year old son. He s new to music, and in the beginning, I was so worried that getting him to sit through lessons would not be easy.... But he absolutely loves it! Jiaxin has been so great with him. She s sweet and funny, but most importantly.... PATIENT! She knows exactly how he needs to learn and he s really absorbing it all like a sponge. We are very fortunate to have found her:). She truly is a wonderful teacher.
