FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
It is difficult to say we have a cookie cutter approach to pricing because age of home, distance from office as well as condition all play a part on how much time will be invested to make your negotiation a success. But as an example a 1200 square foot condo in Annapolis will start at $250 and a 2000 square foot house in Baltimore starts at $350.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We have customers that come from all walks of life, some are from referral services such as this one, but others come from other customer referrals and Real Estate agents. When talking to a client that knows very little about us, it is up to us to put them at ease and the best way to do that is through a conversation. We always recommend that before you purchase an inspection that you talk with the inspector who will do the actual inspection.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I personally have over 27 years experience in the construction of homes. Over those years I have built custom homes for top Architects and have built track homes for some well known national builders. Sandwiched in between there we built additions, decks, kitchens, baths and just about everything you can imagine and we did it professionally and first class. To become a home inspector we have taken all the needed courses to qualify for state certifications as well as other types such as mold, lead, radon and many others. But the biggest asset is not the certifications that anyone can have but the experience that we bring to the inspection from years in the business.
