Mr. Stephen K.
Mr. Jason Costabile was gracious to write a great indoor percussion show for Revolution Indoor Percussion's second year (first competitive year). The show was called "Mime Your Own Business" and it was written for (and tweaked) to the skill level of our ensemble. Mr. Costabile was prompt in edits and put together a great first Indoor Percussion show. Additionally, Mr. Costabile helped us out as we were in a pinch with finances, so he wrote the show for us at a fair price. In other words, he was great to work with, very friendly, and reasonable. I look forward to working with Mr. Jason Costabile in future endeavors and I am certain he will continue to produce quality compositions.Jul 3, 2018
Jason was an excellent teacher. He was always well prepared for our lesson, varied exercises to keep it engaging, utilized our time together very well, and all the while ensured that the experience was focused on my goals.Jun 29, 2018
Jason was kind enough to record and mix a single for my punk rock band Played Out free of charge. He's a talented engineer who is very easy to work with and works with you to realize the sound you want.Jun 28, 2018

- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)? My pricing is designed to be lower than what other pros charge, while still being reasonable and fair for the work and services I provide. I do charge a $5 fee to travel further than 10 miles to complete a project.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer? When we first establish a connection, I will want to get an idea of what your goal is and what you are looking to achieve over the process of completing your project. This will usually be an initial email chain or phone call. I will then put together a plan for executing your project in the most efficient possible way and discuss the plan with you. From there we can proceed with your project.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Music Production from Wartburg College in Waverly, Iowa in 2018, as a percussion major. While at Wartburg, I managed the on campus recording studio for 3 years and led production and engineering on numerous projects. I also taught younger students about engineering to ensure the studio continued to thrive after I graduated. I have also held an internship at Gravity Studios in Chicago, IL.
