Introduction: I have 30 years experience with the US Army Corps of Engineers in both design and construction. over my career I designed and constructed buildings up to one half billion $$$ in size and supervised engineering and architecture staffs of over 200. This was a crushing responsibility and upon retirement I wanted to do "real engineering and architecture" again rather than government red tape. I receive a sufficient pension so my work is for enjoyment now and not income. I can do engineering services at a fraction of the cost of hiring an engineer or engineering firm plus I only do projects I enjoy.
