The bathroom in my condo had experienced some water damage which affected the stability of the tiled shower wall. The drywall and hardiboard was damaged over 3/4 of the shower area. We had to remove all of the damaged wall and tile exposing the mold/mildew area (which had reached the insulation - not the greatest discovery! ) Ernest was able to do a full reinstall of the tile and fix the ledge area in the shower where water was puddling after showers. He was also able to reglaze our tub to ensure it was in pristine condition (a few tiles dinged/ dented the tub). Timeframe of project : 4 days (most of the waiting time was due to allowing waterproofing, tile, and glazing to set and cure thoroughly. Ernest also provided ventilation recommendations for future preventative measures to keep moisture build up from seeping into the walls. Which is great because he gave us future options without pressuring us. His quality of work is top notch!

Don't let pricing be your only guideline for choosing a refinishing specialist. Keep asking questions about their services and see if the refinisher ask you questions about what you are looking to achieve with your project. If they are not concerned enough to ask you questions,How are they going to give you what you are expecting?
