Introduction: I am a lively, patient and hardworking tutor/instructor. With several years of experience as a tutor in math, SAT preparation, writing, Spanish and much more, I have always been overjoyed to meet each and every student where they are and provide my expertise to lead them beyond their expectations. I strive to make learning a thrill, in creative ways, while ensuring that the entire time spent with the student is edifying and productive.
To see a student not only improve on a subject but also grow an enjoyment in that same topic is the essence of tutoring and, by far, my favorite part of the work I do. Tutoring is as much a collaboration as it is instruction, and the input of each person in the process is as crucial as the other's.

I needed tutoring for my granddaughter in high school as she was struggling with Algebra 2. We found Jathan through some friends and he proved to be an excellent and capable instructor. His ability to creatively connect with my granddaughter while making her grow a desire to keep learning was a very unique and appreciated trait.
