Jie was amazing. She took the time to understand my knowledge level and what I was seeking to learn. She then planned a customized curriculum to suit my needs. I'm extremely satisfied and would recommend her to anyone seeking to learn Chinese!

Jie is a fantastic teacher! I am currently a UT student taking a Chinese course and the curriculum is fast past. The only reason why I am doing well in the course is because Jie has been tutoring me along the way. Because she grew up in China AND the US, she is relatable yet extremely knowledgable which makes her one of a kind since most Chinese teachers do not possessive both qualities. She also makes learning FUN! She is hilarious and knows how to keep the session going. I come in to the session feeling overwhelmed and come out feeling like I know everything. I highly recommend her to anyone willing to learn Chinese.

Jade was an amazing teacher to my kids. I have a 6 years old and a 4 years old. Not only was Jade patient with them, she also made the lessons fun and entertaining. Jade is hilarious and even though learning Chinese is hard (and boring), she makes it easy. My kids engaged in her lessons and we have been with her for a long time now. Definitely would recommend her!!

I love having Jade as my Chinese teacher! she explains everything so well and is very patient. She makes learning Chinese fun and entertaining to understand! Jade is also very caring, that she will push you and guide you to learn Chinese the right way. I recommend anyone to have her as a Chinese teacher!

How did you get started doing this type of work?
I've always had a passion for Chinese. I was born in China but grew up in Texas so I have the perfect knowledge of both cultures and languages. I started tutoring people in High School but after a while, I decided to tutor Chinese as a part-time job and now I want to pursue it full time.
