- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I have each new client fill out an intake form when they arrive at my studio. We will then discuss the form and go over areas the client wishes to focus on and areas they wish to be avoided, if any. Any other questions with be addressed in this interview just prior to the massage.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a 500 hours of massage training and am certified in Reiki I.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
A few years ago, I started getting terrible migraine spells. Over the course of several months, the migraines got worse and worse to the point that when they would strike, I would get a sharp pain behind my left eye and become totally useless for the span of the migraine. A friend suggested that I try massage therapy and I was shocked by the results. Massage snapped me back into my body and after my one hour session, I was practically healed. This event changed my life for the better and I decided to go to massage school shortly after.
