I have one dog, a Boston terrier named Tesla. My roommate also has a Corgi, named Tavo. Tesla is my little pride and joy who gets along with anyone and anything. I personally trained and raised Tesla and am now helping my roommate train and raise his Corgi.
I've been around dogs all my life; my family and I have never not had a dog in our home. Almost every dog I have had have been rescues, and I've raised and trained many puppies and even older dogs who just need to learn a few manners. Be they small dogs, big dogs or huge dogs, I can handle them all.
I would love to be a sitter to expand my experience and become an assistant to a professional dog trainer. I enjoy canine companion training and canine interactions.
I have a very open schedule since I have 4 days off a week, Tuesday through Friday, every week. I will be able to do overnight stays -- Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday nights. I'll do day care, dog walks, and drop-ins on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday.
Since I don't have much to do on my days off other than cuddling on the couch with my pups, I would love to have more fluffy company around the house. So I will have plenty of time throughout the week to take care of any dog that comes my way.
Typically, my daily routine will consist of morning walks, followed by feeding, playtime, and separate downtime before afternoon walks and evening feeding time.
I take my dogs with me all the time to parks, the Green Belt, running in the neighborhood and if they are really lucky, I've been known to take my dog out to float around in a tube with me at the lake during the summer.
As for the types of dogs that I love, I love all dogs, but Brachycephalic dogs are my true loves. I can't get enough of those cute short snots and wrinkly faces. No dog is a deal breaker for me. Bring me your lickers and droolers, your crazy tail-wagging hyper pups and your chill cuddle puddles. Big, small, medium, large and huge, my lap is open to even the biggest lap dogs.
I will be able to spend all day with your dog since I don't work at all Tuesday through Thursday. Doggy bath time is my favorite activity with my pups. I've always made sure that my dogs are personally trained to enjoy bath time from a young age. I've even had one dog I owned who wouldn't let me shower alone. She would come running for the bathroom as soon as she heard the water and jump in. I enjoy giving dogs a nice and comfortable bath time experience with lots of bubbles and warm water. A clean, good smelling dog is a happy dog.
I also live in a large neighborhood in North Austin with a park within walking distance of my house; plus, Austin is full of dog-friendly businesses and restaurants, which I always take advantage of whenever possible with my pups. I have two roommates who mostly work during the days but are home at night, everyone reinforcing training models when interacting with your dog.
Most of the time, I just love to lay on the couch and snuggle with my pups while they nap off a fun game of catch.

I have loved dogs pretty much since I was little. I have helped my friends and family train their dogs, from little puppies to big, lovable cuddle bugs.
I can't get enough of my own K9 companions and even other people's dogs. I love to be active with active dogs and lazy with the couch potatoes.
Who doesn't love having the constant companion of a man's best friend.
