FAQs
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to start with a short phone call to get to know my customer and hear about the event they have in mind. I then recommend an equipment package to suit their needs and send an event planning form. If I am working a wedding, I send out a form for my customers to specify the run of event and the music stylings they'd like for the different parts of the wedding. I love to MC and having this planning sheet helps me make your event unforgettable and seamless.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have over a decade of experience playing, producing, and DJing. I work all sides of the music business which gives me insight that sets me apart from other DJs. I've toured the world as a guitarist, worked in recording studios across the country, and performed at countless weddings and events. I have lots of experience booking shows and communicating with clients to make sure I have the right equipment and information for the gig. I'm a performer and I bring that mindset to the DJ booth. My job is engaging people and setting the perfect mood and it's a skill I've perfected over the years.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I've been writing and performing music since the age of 13 and have worked in all facets of the music business in years since. I've had original songs featured on ABC's 'Nashville,' I've booked national tours and performed for thousands as a guitarist in my band Sphynx and have produced music for years. I started DJing before and after the band's wedding gigs and club shows and fell in love with it immediately. I love bringing music to people and I'm grateful for every opportunity I get to do that.
