The reward comes when I observe how sentence-level adjustments often elevate a piece. I also enjoy taking time to discover and encourage a unique voice in writing.

Scott has been helping my son improve his writing skills for past few months and I am very impressed with his ability to not only understand the area where my son needs help but also connect with him in ways that makes him very comfortable and interested in writing. My son hated writing and had difficulty expressing his ideas and thoughts in writing but slowly but surely working with Scott has made him not only more enthusiastic about writing but also be able a organize his thoughts and put it in writing in very concise way.
It is clearly a process but someone like Scott with a great deal of patience and desire to help kids succeed in writing clearly makes a difference. An excellent tutor and a terrific person.

Scott has been helping my daughter get started with her college essays. Prior to his help, she was struggling to get started, to get focused, she couldn't choose a direction. At their very first meeting she had a plan and felt optimistic about where she was headed with her essays. They are still working together and he has turned into an invaluable part of this process for her. Scott is talented, personable, punctual and professional.
