- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My policy is to give an estimate based mostly on the cost of materials and any packaging and shipping costs and add in my hours.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The customer can call or email me. We will discuss what they are interested in, we can meet in person also and exchange ideas and brainstorm on the project, and discuss pricing. I will then start work on their project and keep them updated with pictures and information until the item is completed and then we can meet or I can mail it to them.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am mostly self taught. I have learned from u tube videos, and books, and one class I took at JoAnne Fabrics. I've been studying and practicing in any spare time I had for three years, and will continue to do so.
