- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
All private music lessons are priced as follows: $40/30 minutes $50/45 minutes $60/60 minutes
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I love meeting and working with new people! For music lessons, I advise considering a month to give it a serious try (although we'll make progress in the first lesson). I also strongly recommend booking 60 minute lessons, but am happy to accommodate a variety of financial and schedule situations. The first lesson is the “big picture” lesson. In addition to getting to know each other, we’ll do a general assessment, cover a few key concepts and overarching themes, and finish with a few exercises to take home to practice.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a BA in Vocal Performance and have been performing and recording since childhood. In addition to voice, I’ve actively studied guitar, bass, trumpet, keyboard, percussion, and composition. Outside of music, I’ve studied Alexander Technique and Kung Fu, where I became an instructor. This training factors heavily into my integrated mind/body approach. I've been teaching music privately for over a decade.
