- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I offer training programs at competitive rates and discounts for multiple programs purchased. I can do a virtual consultation for those outside of my travel area. I do nail trims at $10 per dog (I can do cats & small animals too!). I will train multiple dogs for an additional fee (3 dogs or more)
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
After being contacted by the customer, I will talk with them about their concerns with their dog and and answer any questions they have about how I work. If a session is scheduled, I send preliminary information to the customer so they can be as prepared as possible for our session. During the initial session, we will talk more about their dog's behavior and the steps to take, then we will begin working with the dog. My goal during the entire session is that human and dog are calm, happy and understand what is going on.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a Certified Professional Dog Trainer through the CCPDT. I am a Fear Free Certified Trainer. 15+ years of pet-sitting 8 years of dog-training, both privately and in classroom settings Red Cross Pet First Aid certified Continuing education through research, workshops and seminars.
