We hired pro from this company. We requested someone who be able to check & fix our kitchen and bathroom sink. Sara Morales talked & coordinated with us from the company. A person name, Cesar came at about 10 AM on December 22, 2018. I was not at home and at work at the moment, but my wife had explained about our projects & priority. To fix the kitchen sink with clogged was our priority. Replacement of the bathroom sink and others were second. He failed to give us even a gross budget or how much time take him to finish each tasks. Just verbally agreed to all be done. No care for our most priority, wanted to replace the bathroom sink first. Told him, not ready for that and did not buy one yet. But he offered that he can go buy one for us from Home depot. He left at 10.35 AM for Home depot, took almost 3 hours and back at about 1.15 PM with cheap plastic sink. I just backed home from work then. He knew already what to do here, but no enough tools with him, borrowed ours & used vastly including electricity. He spent more hours to install it (almost 4 hours), then barely started working on the kitchen sink and left unfinished. The sink, installed is leaking. Had to put a cup under the sink to stop wetting all over the floor, also coming hot water from red/cold side of the sink tap and from other side vice versa which is wrongly done.
He promised, but he didn’t come on time. Suddenly came without informing at about 1 PM on Dec. 23, 2018 and in few minutes I got the invoice from Sara that came to our home, also I was told to pay ASP. The guy just spent 35 minutes to work on the kitchen sink, left unfinished by promising to come following day. Even though I waited for him by getting some time off from work, but he never showed up again. This company exactly over charged from us. Paid total of $390 in check on December 23, 2018. The bathroom sink is barely done. They charged $60 for the sink, $50 for installation, & $20.00 for fuel to go Home depot which located within 2 miles, and additional $260 for labor hours for what? The guy took our metal elbow from our sink fitting, said “will buy new one same size which is unnecessary, also he never returned it. He work least care, mess all over the home and broke one of doors under the sink and left behind until we discovered it. We kindly asked this company to finish the work and return our elbow pipe fitting several times, but they did not act responsibly & did nothing so far. This is our first time project we chose Thumbtack to get our home projects done. But all ended up with unfinished job and remaining a huge disappointment for my family.
