Group Dog Training Classes Dog Group Training Classes Duration: 6 weeks, each class approximately 60 to 90 minutes long. A minimum of 3 dogs is required These dog training classes are for those who want to either start at the beginning with an older dog or polish up on a dog that has already been through some basic dog training. It is a great time to socialize a bit, too. Topics covered include pet obedience, walking to heel, sit stay, down stay, stand stay and recall and aggressive dog training. Concentration is on teaching your dog to focus even with many distractions. Board and train Duration: 2 weeks class Puppy School Classes Puppy training schools are available in some areas. The primary purpose of puppy school is socialization at an early age with other dogs and other people to introduce good leash control without stress. Puppy obedience training also familiarizes your dog with commands and correct puppy behavior that will make both your lives more enjoyable. As the dog gets older, he will challenge you more and try to get away with a few bad habits. Daily Dog Board & Train Daily Board & Train provides your dog with a daily routine of more house manners, brushing up on basic obedience such as Sit, Down, Come, Stay, Heeling or working on a problem behavior. Basic dog training instructions will be provided to the owner to continue with their pets training at home. Two Week Dog Program The Two Week Program is a more focused training program covering anywhere from the basics, general house manners, advanced training to problem solving. It can be great for dogs that have had no prior training, making sure they have an understanding and consistency of basic commands. Maybe your dog has had some basics but needs to be more polished in certain areas. We can work on solving or redirection some of those problem behaviors. Your dog will be in a family home or indoor Kennel setting This option is great for pet to be in similar surroundings like home while helping your pet to be more of an well behaved indoor companion. The second week we focus on adding many different distracts to help your pet gain more reliability. For board and train I will address all behaviors such as : House Training (Potty Training) Puppy Biting / Mouthing Jumping Chewing / Digging Boundaries Barking / Whining Off the furniture (If Desired) Crate Training (If Desired) Indoor/Outdoor Training Come When Called Pulling on the Leash Jumping on people / furniture Chewing / Digging Biting / Mouthing Bolting / Wait at the door Sit / Stay Down / Stay Place command House Training / Potty Training Aggression problems Come When Called Sit / Stay Down / Stay Sit Stay at a distance Down Stay at a distance Nuisance Barking / Whining Heeling On and Off Leash Jumping on People Barking / Whining Chewing / Digging Place Command
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
My method of training is simple, with the help of using a clicker for good behavior it is affection based communication and relationship training. I offer board and train for basic to advance obedience and specific negative behavioral problems can be address with private or group session. The Private training course are case by case and really depends on what your looking to accomplish within a reasonable time frame. I am located in the Mid Cities. Please take this into consideration when you make a selection. I am willing to drive upto a 20 to 25 mile radius. I focus on several items: ? Communication through obedience training ? - What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
The dog world has open up so many doors I have traveled to Belgium, Holland and Germany and its granted me the pleasure to have trained with very respectable European trainers. Most of my knowledge is dog sport based. My Dog (Sasha) has several titles in competition the brevet in Mondio, a Protection Dog Certification with the protection dog association or PSA. We also have a CDC or Good canine certificate with the American kennel Club. Sport training requires discipline and constant training for the next competition.....
