FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My pricing almost always depends on the amount of time required by a client and the final number of images they want. All sessions include digital files for sharing online. Clients can also purchase additional edited images, print releases, and print files or order prints, canvases, etc. directly from their online gallery. Additional fees for travel, photos, etc. will always be declared ahead of time and never tacked-on to your invoice without your request.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The first contact with a client, I will always try to get a well rounded idea of their expectations. I offer my advice for session length, outfits and a location that will match your intended "vibe". We will find a date and time that works for you, and I will also check the weather a few days before in the case of an outdoor shoot. Rescheduling due to unforseen circumstanes is never any problem. After our photoshoot, clients can view digital "proofs" to choose the exact photos they want to be edited and keep. All final photos are posted to a beautiful private gallery online that can be downloaded, displayed or shared with friends and family. My hope for all my clients is that they are satisfied with the work and become lifelong customers.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have almost no formal education when it comes to professional photography! This is actually something I am very proud of. I am a self-taught learner in many respects and my photography style demands a high level of creativity and flexibility. I know my equipment inside and out before I even commit to purchasing it, and have found that with the wealth of knowledge available me through online and in person resources.
