FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Standard pricing is what is destroying Pest Control service. An example, a house is 1000 square feet has rats inside, the company charges $300 for everything over the phone. The next house calls they have a 2500 square foot house with rats, they charge $300 for everything. Both houses get the exact same amount of time in the schedule both houses get the exact same charge on the labor. anybody could figure out, that larger house will take over twice as long. Now the technician is forced to do a substandard job. I can tell you 15 years of experience this repeats itself over and over through the entire industry
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The initial process begins with a complete inspection, inside the house outside the house up in the attic down in the crawl space, generally takes about an hour to two and a half hours depending on the size of the house. From there I will formulate a plan on exactly what needs to get done to take care of the situation. than I go back and speak with the customer and explain to them what needs to get done, why it needs to get done, and show them pictures of the issues that I found. once the customers is educated and comfortable with the pest control process and applications, and expected results. This is why I begin the treatment process. I use environmental, mechanical, chemical, cultural, and biological control method. I am not a poison spray jockey.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I know that nothing is more important than the 15 years of experience in the field. I also hold pesticide application licenses, pest inspectors licenses in Oregon, Washington, Idaho and I attended pretty well all of the Washington State Department of Agriculture Pest Control seminars over 15 years.
