FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I provide once-a-week meal preparation services and typically charge $20 per hour and can prepare as many or as few meals as you would like, for as many people as you would like. It is easier if I can travel to your house and use your kitchen to prepare the meals, though I can deliver if needed.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I would love to first meet with you to discuss you needs (dietary and other) and this meeting is free of charge--to determine if I would be a good fit.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am currently in the process of obtaining my Washington State Food Handler's Permit and additionally my ServSafe Certification. I am training to become a registered dietitian and have an extensive knowledge of nutrition. Currently I teach farming and cooking to kids through Common Threads Farm in Bellingham, WA. I enjoy making food that is both healthy and delicious.
