My wife and I used Yellow Dart films and the owner Alexander Faulk to do our wedding video a few years back. We couldn't have been more happy with how it turned out! Mr. Faulk was professional and courteous. He was timely and organized and he was able to walk that fine line of being energetic and involved but invisible at the same time. He was also able to edit and complete the entire thing in a few short days following the ceremony. It was pretty cool for us to have access to our memories that fast. My wife and I don't plan on getting married again but if we did this is who we would use to do our wedding video. Highly Recommended!!!

When we first began getting serious about planning for a wedding, we had decided not to have a videographer. We decided to just have a photographer and that we'd just have the pictures. Unfortunately, just a few months before our wedding, my husband to be's grandmother got very sick, and it was not looking good. We then decided that we should do a video so that we could at least send it to her to watch. I started searching far and wide for a videographer, which was a sudden added, and unexpected expense; since we had a tight budget of $8000 for the wedding and the honeymoon; and most of it had already been paid. I ran across thumbtack, and I found Alexander, Yellow Dart Films. I explained exactly what I was looking for, and exactly what I could do financially, and he definitely delivered above and beyond our expectations. Alexander has a great personality and fit right in with the guests at our wedding. In fact, he definitely became a dear friend of ours by the time all the festivities were squared away. When we received our video, and watched it for the first time, it was really great! It was above and beyond what I had expected to receive for my budget, and choosing Alexander was a fantastic choice. Unfortunately, my husbands grandmother passed away before the wedding, but we do have a lasting live memory to take us back when we are old and gray. What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Every project is handled differently! Every wedding is at a different church; every bride and groom is special in a different way. My goal is to get the bride's vision and make that happen in a video format of her choice.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Alexander Faulk (owner, founder) began making small movies when he was 12. At age 16 he began filming weddings, receptions, music videos, and athletics for college hopefuls. Once in college (University of Alabama), he began working as an intern for WVUA-TV (Tuscaloosa, AL). After creating 2 videos for Alabama's presentation in the NSAC (advertising competion) Southeastern region competition, the team won, and Alexander graduated and now works in video production and graphic design in Birmingham, AL.
