- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
First visit is usually just watching how the animals interact with each other (if their are multiple) or how they engage with their human(s). Initial coaching with the human(s) on how they should behave towards their animal(s) and then beginning the behavior modification or initial training. Following up as needed (some cases are weekly and others are monthly).
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I worked in a zoo and have gotten to spend a considerable amount of time with and around domestic and exotic animals. All training I have is experiential and first hand learning from professionals.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I've wanted to train and care for animals for as long as I can remember.
