FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My prices are very competitive due to very low operating costs. They are based on complexity, length of time, physical effort, and potential risk of injury, damages, or danger involved in performing the job. Small jobs (lasting one day or less) or large jobs of two or more days, I estimate the price proportionally to the above criteria.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The process begins with the request for services from the customer. It is important to include in the request detail and specific information (location: exterior or room and area inside the house, size/measurement, current parts/products/model # and condition, ex. "It" doesn't turn, or light does not turn on, or leak is coming from drain or supply pipe, it needs to be repaired or replaced, etc., including photo(s) preferably. This info will help me in providing a more accurate and mutually fair, fixed price. Without detailed information, instead of a fixed price I suggest an on-site visit (free-of-charge) to discuss the parts/products to be used, their price, and the scope of work labor needed to complete the job to then give the customer a total fixed price onsite. During initial contact, we discuss the job in more detail, including parts/producst needed, who provides it, method of payment, access to premises, etc., and set up date/time to start the job.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have relevant self-study education, including early on-the-job training, and trial-and-error experience throughout the past 18 years. I also have a bachelor degree in business administration and operations management experience.
