Matthew McConnell - Private Trumpet Lessons

I am a master's student at New England Conservatory studying classical trumpet performance. I did my undergrad at the University of Southern California. I have been playing trumpet for 13 years. Both my parents are musicians, and I started on piano when I was very young. I have lots of experience and would love to help anyone who is interested to get started on the basics. I would also love to help anyone who is looking to improve their basic technique. I am available to teach classical performance, beginner jazz, pop, and other genres to interested students. I love to see the students improve and get a joy out of the music they are making. I love it when my students get personal satisfaction and confidence in their ability to learn new skills as they progress. I think that music can serve as a metaphor for anything else in your life if you let it! I really enjoy the connections that people make to themselves, both mentally and spiritually, from creating music.
