FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We require a 50% down payment to begin work and the remaining balance is due upon completion of the project. We also provide a 30 day Warranty beginning when your project is completed.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
First you’ll have a phone consult with us and we’ll discuss your vision, story, needs, goals, timeline, budget and what you are looking to achieve with your project. Once we decide to move forward I’ll send you an overview of what we discussed for your review. Once you approve that, I send over a contract agreement for the project that lists, in detail, the project scope, process, investment, payment expectations, deliverables, and so on. You eSign the agreement and I send over the invoice for your 50% down payment and remaining payment schedule. Then we get to work on your project. We start with creating your sitemap and wireframing (for web design), and overall style and feel. You will approve this stage as well. Depending on what type of media we are designing, we will discuss everything you need and vision again. We may send over concepts or stylescapes as well. We’ll go through a process of reviews and approvals of versions of our work. Then once you approve the final version(s) of the deliverables we’ll send over all appropriate file formats to you. If it’s a website this is when we would go live and schedule your full website training session. We include a 30 day warranty for any project.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
While we don’t have college accreditation or degrees in our industry, we are always continuing our education and skill set in design and production. This includes design software training, workshops, and hands on experience. This keeps us relevant and we believe in always honing our craft.
